COLLABORATIVE TEAMWORK
At the heart of IN-FRED Consult is visionary founder Lawer Akunor, a passionate storyteller and cultural documentarian. Currently pursuing a PhD in Media and Communication at the University of Media Arts and Communication (UniMAC) in Accra, Ghana, Lawer brings a dynamic blend of academic rigor and creative expertise to every project.
With a strong academic foundation—including a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication (specializing in Television Production), a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing), and a professional diploma in Cinematography from the renowned NAFTI (now UniMAC-IFT)—Lawer is uniquely positioned at the intersection of media, culture, and education.
As an independent filmmaker, his lens is deeply rooted in the preservation and celebration of indigenous culture. His current focus is on telling the rich and untold stories of the Asante people, using film and research to amplify traditional narratives and promote cultural heritage.
